Why, hello there!
You have stumbled upon Three Bookish Girls, a blog about–well, it’s about three girls who read. A lot. And we write about what we read, what we want to read, what we liked, what we didn’t like….essentially, anything connected with books is fair game for discussion here.
We’re all in our twenties, and met through our fantastic Catholic parish, St. Patrick, here in Columbus, Ohio. We’re all members of the Dominican Laity, as well as St. Patrick’s 20s group. So we’re all Catholic, and all pretty devout. That means that religious books will get reviewed here often. But if you’re not into that, then you can just skip them, although we hope you read everything we write! For more about each of us, check out the “About the Girls” page.
We also exist as a “real” bookclub–we meet once a month to discuss the book we’re currently reading. That book will be posted here, and a list of all the books we’ve read is on the “Book Selections” page at the top of the blog. Future books will also be posted here (as we decide them, that is).
We read, we write, we pray. That about sums it up.
